Job Description
ABC News is looking for a Script Coordinator to support GMA3. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and grow, be an enthusiastic team player, and very detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Producer support including sourcing elements, transcribing interviews, ingesting elements for studio interviews and/or packages and shoot preparations
- Use sound editorial judgement and knowledge of current events, social media, sports, and pop culture to create VOs
- Actively pitch story ideas and engage in story development related to production
- Main backup for evening script coordinator – inputting scripts in iNews for upcoming show
- Backup for TSS production associate: Any and all printing needs, from briefing notes to interview cards will be trafficked to this role.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of television, media or agency experience,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and excel
- Sharp eye for detail and have experience working in a highly demanding, deadline-driven environment
- Flexibility with 7 day work week/holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with iNews is a plus, but not required
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $46,600 to $75,800 per year based on a 40 hour work week.
