Job Description
You’ll be based in our New York City office and oversee a Post Coordinator and Video Editor, Post Production. The Senior Post Production Manager reports to the Director of Project Management & Post Production.
The Senior Post Production Manager will lead by example in demonstrating Group Nine’s values - Care Deeply, Be Brave, Go First, Do Good, Stay Close and Win Together.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Oversee planning, scheduling, workflow, and staffing for all assignments and distribution strategies.
- Work with the editorial team to ensure that all video content is delivered on-time, on-budget, with stellar-quality and in conformity with NowThis and partner creative requirements.
- With Post Production Coordinator and Video Editor, Post Production, provide day-to-day technical support for NowThis’s team of staff and freelance editors.
- Work closely with the Post Production team and IT to monitor & maintain the organization and health of our server/MAM resources, asset management and file retention policies.
- Coordinate with IT to maintain hardware and software systems.
- Refine, document and roll out updated post production processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with Design and Insights teams to test and oversee the deployment of Adobe updates to all edit stations and manage the installation.
- Onboard, train and support editors and freelancers and ensure they follow templates and guidelines.
- Lead, inspire, and nurture our team in post-production.

- Be proactive and engaged in interdepartmental meetings to get ahead of any potential roadblocks.
MUST HAVES:
- 4+ years industry experience, and 1+ year(s) working specifically within Post Production across multiple digital platforms and formats.
- Expert in post production equipment, and software: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci
- Deep understanding of post production processes and workflows.
- Strong understanding of video and audio codecs, file formats, camera formats and resolutions.
- Sharp attention to detail and thoroughness
- Conversant with or quickly able to learn project management applications like Airtable.
- Highly skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities with the keen ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of and passion for the NowThis brand.
