Job Description
Responsibilities
- Partner with team and identify props, furniture, and other styling elements for styling the set that are aligned with the creative leadership’s art direction.
- Have knowledge of prop sources, both retail and rental. Source props online, at local retailers, and rental houses.
- Able to style sets quickly and creatively in fast paced environment within established art direction and brand guidelines.
- During shoot, confirm details on shot requirements, prep props/set dressing, and maintain organized prop inventory.
- Strike, store, and return unused props/set dressing.
- Manage and strictly adhere to props budget. Track receipts, complete expense report, and deliver budget reconciliation at the end of the project.
- Be a positive and upbeat team player on set and in the studio.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in prop/set/scenic styling in commercial photography and/or set dressing in film/television industry.
- Include link to or attachment of portfolio to be considered.
- 2 years of experience managing prop/set/scenic budget.
- Self-starter who can work independently, anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and solve
- creative problems.
- Able to work collaboratively and develop great working relationships with colleagues.
