Job Description

Responsibilities:
  •  Steadicam Operator for the early AM shows Monday – Friday
  •  Robotic Camera setup and operation for live newscasts, webcasts, cut-ins, local programs, and commercial projects
  •  Ensuring effective interaction between the control room and studio
  •  Live Shot Acquisition and Media Ingest
Job Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of studio and location equipment including, but not limited to: Steadicam Operation, Robotic studio cameras, Studio Lighting, Live shot acquisition and media ingest processes, and Teleprompter Operation.
  • Experience with ENPS and Bit Central server systems also a plus.
  • Directing experience in an automated control room a plus
  • Two (2) years’ experience in various aspects of television production preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on working as a team with producers
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Metropolitan Washington, DC
  • Personal integrity, teamwork, accountability, problem solving, strong work ethic
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Comfortable with ladders and heights
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Other duties as assigned
