Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Steadicam Operator for the early AM shows Monday – Friday
- Robotic Camera setup and operation for live newscasts, webcasts, cut-ins, local programs, and commercial projects
- Ensuring effective interaction between the control room and studio
- Live Shot Acquisition and Media Ingest
Job Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of studio and location equipment including, but not limited to: Steadicam Operation, Robotic studio cameras, Studio Lighting, Live shot acquisition and media ingest processes, and Teleprompter Operation.
- Experience with ENPS and Bit Central server systems also a plus.
- Directing experience in an automated control room a plus
- Two (2) years’ experience in various aspects of television production preferred
- Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on working as a team with producers
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Metropolitan Washington, DC
- Personal integrity, teamwork, accountability, problem solving, strong work ethic
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Comfortable with ladders and heights
- Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Other duties as assigned
