Job Description
YOUR DAY-DAY:
- Responsible for rolling the teleprompter for the talent.
- Seamlessly move through the rundown when changes are made and keep focus during productions that can be long or short format.
- Loads and runs the script following the talent
- Clean and inspect prompter hardware including monitor and reflective glass prior to broadcast
- Check closed captioning of recorded or live broadcast if necessary
- Build and break remote prompters
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment
YOU HAVE:
- Associate degree in television production or equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of Computers and Windows Operating Systems including Word processing software.
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- 1-2 years of experience with live studio broadcast
- Comfortable with all aspects of the production
- Perform well under pressure and impromptu production changes
