Job Description
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Director experience directing news and local programming at a major market station
- Minimum 1 year experience working with automation in the broadcast field
- Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends and overtime as scheduled
- Must be a member in good standing of the DGA (Directors Guild of America) union
ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a current DGA union member in good standing or will be required to
- join the union if not currently a member.
- Must be willing to work in Chicago, IL
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years of age
- Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s Degree in TV/Radio, TV Production or related field
- Familiar with Dalet Newsroom system
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with an energetic and proactive approach
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and in situations requiring last-minute decisions on a daily basis
- Excellent communicator, contributor and team player
