RESPONSIBILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work collaboratively with team members, leads, supervisors and producers to efficiently composite assigned weekly quotas
- Integrate multi-pass EXR & various digitally created elements with live action footage
- Troubleshoot and solve creative & technical issues
- Collaborate with members of other departments as necessary to insure completion of shots
- Manage time, expectations and resources to meet deadlines
- Attend reviews and team meetings as required
- Remain current with latest lighting techniques through industry research and training
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years experience compositing visual effects in feature films and/or high-end television series … combining digital elements with live action a plus
- Must be proficient with Nuke
- Experience with Fusion and/or After Effects a plus
- Must have a keen eye to details
- Exhibit a strong sense of composition and colour - being able to think outside the box when it comes to design and execution
- Ability to take on assigned tasks with minimum supervision
- Ability to take direction/critiques positively and thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines
- Experience with Shotgun a plus
- Preference is given to Ontario residents, qualified Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents of Canada or those eligible under NAFTA
