Job Description
The VFX Training Supervisor manages the training and education needs of the employees at Industrial Light & Magic India (MBI). They serve as a liaison and resource for trainees and the training staff, coordinating training requests and needs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the programs for the Studio Talent Group, including working with MBI Leadership, Supes and Leads on onboarding and training needs for MBI artists.
- Responsible for managing and development of the training team locally.
- Responsible and Manages Production training programming, including on-boarding and personal development programs for MBI.
- Manages vendors who run professional development classes. and works with them on the content of the training program.
- Serves as a liaison between trainees and the training staff, observing and communicating training needs and feedback to STG Leadership.
- Works with Talent Managers, trainers and mentors to establish training schedules and training content for new hires.
- Works closely with the creative management team to build The Jedi Academy junior talent programs including Internships and Apprenticeships, as needed.
- Supports New Hire Orientation scheduling, content and facilitation.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- Experience in building training programs, conducting training need analysis and instructional design.
- Has previously displayed strategic thinking skills and understanding of business partnership.
- Good project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
- Familiarity with film production/post production and computer graphics required.
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Interest in computer graphics, filmmaking, and education required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with diverse personalities.
