What you’ll do:
- Edit a wide variety of digital video content focusing on millennials and Gen Z, personal finance and other topics on brand for CNBC Make It, from short social clips to longer features
- Collaborate with the production, editorial and motion graphics teams in the daily creation of video content
- Develop new editing formats, styles and workflows
- Keep tabs on current digital video and social trends around the industry and apply them in the work that you do
- Maintain proficiency with emerging edit software and workflows
- Be responsible for reliable sound mix, color correction and media management for your own work
Qualifications

- At least 5 years of professional experience as a video editor in a digital production environment
- Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven news judgment and high ethical standards
- Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced news environment
