Job Summary/Description:
- Video Editor for KVVU-TV, FOX5, Las Vegas. The position requires knowledge of non-linear video editing.
- Must be capable of Editing news stories in various forms for newscasts and various digital platforms.
- Receive and follow instructions on editing ENG material, from talent or producers.
- May have to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, mornings and holidays.
- Edit video as assigned for newscasts and various digital platforms.
- Upload/download video to partner outlets/platforms.
- Communicate with team in the newsroom.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of prior Editor experience, preferably in a TV Newsroom.
- Flexible work hours required.
- College degree preferred, but not required.
