Salem Media Group offers an exceptional opportunity for a for our New Media division. This person will write articles as well as host an audio and video podcast specific to the topic of Small Business Marketing.
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual with a passion for and knowledge of small business marketing to join our growing team of content creators.
You’d be responsible for creating, editing and publishing engaging and informative written, audio and video content that appeals to the audience interested in small business marketing. You will be expected to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in digital media creation and in small business marketing.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual with a passion for and knowledge of small business marketing to join our growing team of content creators.
You’d be responsible for creating, editing and publishing engaging and informative written, audio and video content that appeals to the audience interested in small business marketing. You will be expected to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in digital media creation and in small business marketing.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging and informative written, audio, and video content for our website and social media platforms on the topic of small business marketing.
- Interview experts and publish content on small business marketing.
- Plan and schedule content.
- Work with the team to brainstorm new ideas and concepts for content
- Research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in digital media creation and is small business marketing.
- Collaborate with the social media team to use social media to promote content and increase engagement
- Edit and post-produce audio and video content using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Monitor and track audience metrics and provide regular reports on engagement, readership, listenership, and viewership
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments and feedback
- Attend events and represent our brand in a positive manner
Qualifications
- A degree in business, media, communication, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in digital media creation
- Passion for storytelling and creating engaging multi-media content
- Ability to write, speak and perform
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail with effective organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of small business marketing
- Passion for storytelling and creating engaging multi-media content
