Pluto TV is seeking a Vice President of Engagement Marketing to own the lifecycle marketing strategy, campaign and program execution across all owned & operated channels for our market leading Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV service. This executive will lead a team of consumer marketers and operational specialists to grow engagement, retention and lifetime value of our customers. The role requires expertise in using audience data and insights to optimize a set of automations, journeys, and strategic campaigns that grow viewers into committed users. This leader will synthesize priorities across content, product features, and upsell messaging to deliver the right message to the right viewer at the right time. The ideal candidate will be a strong marketing leader with in-depth knowledge of lifecycle cross-channel optimization and product marketing ideally within the streaming content space to help grow Pluto TV and achieve our mission of Entertaining the Planet.
Responsibilities:
- Bring to life a robust, data-driven lifecycle marketing strategy across all of Pluto TV’s owned and operated channels including email, push, on-air promotions, and in-app messaging to optimize for engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value
- Develop integrated marketing programs of both automated triggered journeys and coordinated cross-channel campaigns in support of content, product feature, and upsell priorities
- Partner with Insights and Analytics teams to develop robust audience segmentations and targeting strategies to identify next best action models, as well as threshold metrics and behaviors to signal the health of the user
- Work with internal and external partners across product and MarTech solutions to build infrastructure to implement, track, and measure efficiency of programs
- Establish team of marketers and channel specialists who are able to optimize efficiency of individual channels while coordinating across touch points to address for the entire user journey
- Partner with Brand, Content, Media and Creative Marketing teams to develop innovative cross-channel campaigns to grow engagement (total TV hours watched) delivering effective targeted campaigns and experiences reaching our defined target segments
- Collaborate with marketing leaders across Paramount Global to determine opportunities that use the Pluto TV audience to grow awareness improve consumer value across the Paramount ecosystem
- Recruit, encourage, and lead a diverse and dedicated team and cultivate an environment of warm candor and breakthrough performance
- Be a key voice among the executive leadership team in the development of goals and strategies
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
- 15+ years marketing experience required, including leading lifecycle or engagement marketing for a content brand
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience leading product marketing function within digital businesses; experience with MarTech a plus
- Positive relationship building, interpersonal and cross-functional team partnership skills
- Critical thinking and analytical capabilities, particularly in customer segmentation and audience definition
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Inspirational leader, with a history of recruiting and fostering top marketing talent
Hiring Salary Range: $176,800.00 - 250,000.00.
