Job Description
Wrangling is an important support position that is unique to the film and visual effects industry, involved with rendering, data processing and delivering our VFX work to our clients.
What the job involves:
What the job involves:
- Assisting Production in day-to-day deliverables to our clients and other internal departments.
- Working with our artists in their rendering support needs – investigating technical problems, troubleshooting.
- Attending to data related requests – such as moving/sorting, processing and ingesting data.
What you would bring with you:
- Be an excellent communicator and team player.
- Familiarity with Linux (or any other UNIX.)
- Willingness to do shift work and variable hours; between 40 - 50 per week.
- Tertiary Degree or Cert in IT, Comp Sci or Digital Media Design (Animation, Digital Art, 3D Modelling, Web Development.)
Desirable skills you may also bring:
- Service desk or customer service experience
- Basic understanding of machine hardware components, networking and system monitoring tools.
- Experience with a scripting language such as Python
- Data analysis and graphing.
