Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Accounting duties, including but not limited to:
  • Enforcement of all Production Accounting guidelines/procedures as outlined in the studio manual
  • Code and process weekly Accounts Payable
  • Maintain PO logs
  • Batch accounting documents into Scenechronize
  • Perform weekly close procedures
  • Research/Process outstanding checks
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:     
  • At least one year of production accounting experience; payroll experience preferred
  • Prior experience using VISTA accounting software
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Must be able to work some overtime
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Desired Characteristics:     
  • Prior professional finance experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with show personnel, corporate and vendors
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

  • Strong analytical, organizational and detail-oriented skills
Additional Requirements:
  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
  • Annual salary range: $60,060 - $72,800
  • Hourly salary range: $16.50 - $20.00
  • The candidate who fills this position will be paid at least 60 hours per week regardless of whether they work less than 60 hours. Hours over 40 hrs/wk will be paid at the appropriate overtime rate.
