Job Description

This role will be responsible for coordinating meetings and events associated with FX’s comedy, documentary, and drama series, as well as providing administrative support to an SVP and Director of Current Programming.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to a Senior Vice President and Director, including phone coverage, calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reports, mail, filing, copying, office supplies, and other departmental administrative tasks as needed
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure they have the necessary materials needed to take care of their responsibility to the network
  • Maintain the current grid that is distributed throughout the network
  • Schedule meetings, conference calls, events, and coordinate any other communications between the current department, the network, the studio, and external partners
  • Evaluate drafts of current projects creating reports for distribution
  • Write episodic summaries and create current season reports
Basic Qualifications:
  • 1+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio or network with a solid grasp of the entertainment business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Words, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Must be highly organized, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to multitask and handle a high-stress and high-volume atmosphere
  • Able to manage and disseminate tasks punctually and properly
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to keep pace in an environment with frequently changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio or network
  • Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media
Required Education:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
