Job Description
Skydance Animation is seeking an Assistant to support the Director and Producer of a feature film. The ideal candidate is a proactive team-player with previous administrative experience. They will have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with appropriate urgency for quick turnaround, and a desire to learn and grow within the animation production pipeline!
Responsibilities
- Manage calendar of the Directors and Producer, assist in navigation of daily schedule and needs, identify priorities
- Maintain consistent awareness of production timeline, statuses, deadlines
- Coordinate meetings and communicate priorities with team members, studio, and external contacts
- Arrange physical and/or virtual conference details, issue meeting invitations, coordinate agendas and materials
- Maintenance of databases and spreadsheet tracking, filing, assembly of presentation materials
- Screen and respond to incoming calls and correspondence
- Attend meetings and note-take, timely distribution to appropriate parties following
- Research tasks and assembly of materials as needed
- Timely collection and distribution of crew timesheets to production finance
- Track and submit invoices and expense reports
- Arrange detailed travel plans and itineraries, compile travel documentation
- Other ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements
- At least 1-year as assistant or PA within entertainment; experience at animation studio a plus
- Desire to grow within animation production
- Proficient with MS Office & Google Suites, Photoshop & Keynote a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines under pressure
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with ability to professionally interface with team, studio at large, Executives, and external contacts
- High level of integrity and discretion with confidential information
- Knowledge of creative, production, post-production processes and related workflows a plus
The hourly range for this non-exempt position is $22.00 to $25.00.
