Job Description

We are looking for a talented Associate Director, Video Production to create eye-catching and compelling video content for internal and external use, across social media, marketing, and new business.
The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of relevant agency, freelance, and/or in-house experience and is comfortable executing all aspects of video production including pre-production project management, lighting/sound/camera set-up, and post-production editing with motion graphics. Experience with photography is preferred.

Videography
  • Collaborate across Marketing + Equity team to understand vision and requirements for each project (corporate, new business, client)
  • Partner on the creation of storyboards/scripts to ensure a cohesive visual storytelling approach
  • Plan, organize, and run video shoots, including scouting locations, setting up equipment for lighting and sound, capturing footage, directing/interviewing subjects, etc.
  • Capture on-site and remote video and photography of live events, interviews, and scripted series for internal and external usage
  • Work with voiceover artists to deliver audio assets as needed
  • Manage assets, ensuring proper organization (taxonomy, file names, accessibility, etc.), backup, and storage for easy retrieval
  • Capture employee headshots and events and manage library of headshots and corporate promotional photos
  • Travel on and off-site as required
Editing
  • Utilize video editing software to assemble footage to deliver polished final product while adhering to project requirements and timelines
  • Apply post-production techniques, such as color correction, transitions, audio enhancements, visual effects, and motion graphics, to enhance the overall video quality
  • Trim and rearrange videos to optimize pacing and storytelling, ensuring coherence and continuity
  • Pull necessary assets from third-party licensed assets (motion graphics, stock video, effects, etc.) and incorporate as needed
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail, meticulously reviewing videos for errors, inconsistencies, and technical issues
  • Create cut downs of existing assets to use across internal and external channels
  • Edit photos to ensure brand tone and consistency
  • Maintain a backup and archival system for completed projects, ensuring data integrity and the ability to revisit and repurpose content when needed
  • Continuously stay updated on emerging trends, techniques, and tools to maintain a high standard of quality and creativity

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of video production experience
  • Technical expertise with post-production tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Lightroom
  • Experience creating video assets with repurposed footage and motion graphics
  • Demonstrated ability to shoot in live and studio environments
  • Live and portrait photography experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to comprehend and visually communicate complex concepts
  • Great storytelling and communication skills
  • Creative thinker exhibiting a range of varied styles and techniques
Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
