Job Description

The Licensed Associate Marketing Manager will play a key role on Hulu’s Brand Marketing team, primarily focused on International and Kids & Family content partners to elevate awareness of and engagement with our content library. You’ll be responsible for building and executing an effective domestic (U.S.) Go-To-Market campaign alongside cross-functional partners.

The individual in this role finds success in collaborative environments. They have the tact, diplomacy and discipline to nurture relationships across Hulu and Walt Disney content partners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should love International TV, entertainment/media and culture -and understands how they can intersect. We are looking for an exceptionally organized marketer that prioritizes their day, week, month, etc. efficiently. Since you’ll be working with PR, Social and Creative Marketers, knowledge of media tactics and opportunities is key to activating those stakeholders and channels.

Responsibilities:
  • Reporting into the Licensed Mkt Manager, support international licensed content partner relationships including BBC, ITV, Banijay, Star, Disney and others to support our partners in achieving mutually beneficial business objectives
  • Develop and execute launch and sustain marketing campaigns) for licensed and exclusive shows as well as supporting our larger portfolio during key moments throughout the year that activate against our business goals
  • Develop creative assets for campaigns with internal and external creative teams
  • Work cross-functionally to achieve success, including collaborating with the Multicultural team, Creative, Media, Social, CRM, On channel, PR and more
  • Compile metrics, data, and analysis on campaigns and offer suggestions for optimization and work with Multicultural Marketing team on audience expansion opportunities
  • Adapt learnings to future projects and campaigns to improve existing workflows and processes.
Basic Qualifications:
  • +3 years of experience with Licensed Content Marketing/ in a fast-paced high-volume environment such as a streamer, agency, or media/TV company.
  • Must have experience launching international shows, or marketing shows from different countries/languages; Kids & Family is a plus!
  • Experience managing an agency or working for one is a plus.
  • Experience with Spanish language content a major plus.
  • Experience executing campaigns, sets the gold standard on collaboration and clear communication required.
  • Experience collaborating within a cross functional marketing team (how to activate the Marketing channel owners is key)
  • Ability to use consumer insights to craft strategies and tell stories through campaigns.
  • Works exceptionally well with internal teams and external partners
  • Role requires someone who is very organized, takes initiative, resourceful, and is great at problem solving.
  • Proficient in Google sheets, slides, and docs and Microsoft Suite
  • This position is onsite and will requires someone to be in the office 4+ days a week.
  • Must live within a commutable distance to Santa Monica, CA.
  • Curious, passionate, positive, and resilient; loves the Hulu brand.
Education Requirements:
  • BA or BS Degree
The hiring range for this position in Sant Monica, CA is $77,100 to $103,400 per year.
