Job Description
The primary role of the Associate Producer/Booker is to schedule chefs and other guest appearances.
- This means a great deal of communication using a telephone, emails, texts or even messaging over social media.
- On days when shows are scheduled to record, the Associate Producer/Booker would inform the guards on who to expect, greet the chefs and escort them to Studio B, plus help them with any other production related tasks.
- During the show, they would help time segments and assist the Showrunner/Producer as needed.
- This position will also oversee a forward-looking calendar that details both the taping schedule and a list of shows that will be airing on specific dates.
- Web elements and Social Media will also be a big part of this effort.
- The Associate Producer/Booker will post recipes/pictures on the show’s web page, upload episodes to YouTube and create/edit short videos to post on various platforms.
- Must be organized and communicate effectively.
- Four years’ work experience preferred.
