Job Description

For our Line Producing Team based in Brugherio (MB) we are looking for an experienced Associate Producer (maternity cover) focused on Live Community Management, to support some exciting projects at QVC Italy. You will drive social media interaction between QVC and our audience during live events through moderation of our online shopping community conversations. You will have the chance to guide the efficient delivery of key information to our customers across our live platforms. Working on shifts (Monday to Sunday) you will also work hands-on in our studios to prepare, distribute and communicate relevant information to the team, being the primary ‘go-to’ person between the Contact Centre and the gallery.

Your Impact
  • Reporting to the Line Producer Manager, you'll have to:
  • Research and collate relevant support material, stocks, sales and selling strategy information delivering this preparation work to the TV Production team
  • Provide the Line Producer with accurate updates on stock levels, phone activity, e-mails, web reviews, additional content, product info and social engagement & interaction, ensuring teams have the appropriate information to enhance sales and production values
  • Engage and moderate our online communities in relevant conversations throughout the live shows, consistent with QVC values
  • Capture and share relevant audio-visual and text-based content using approved mobile devices and applications empowering the live shopping experience
  • Check relevant scripts are activated/closed promptly
  • Act as the link between the Contact Centre and the Production team
  • Seek out product, size, color and other relevant information to the live show, that will help increase sales opportunities and reduce excessive talk time in the contact center
  • Ensure levels of staff are available to maintain output and cover emergency shift in the absence of Line Producer Manager
  • Review periodically your own work to ensure your own standards continue to exceed the expected level of performance
  • Stay update with Social Media teams to be aligned with our current social media strategy
  • Produce requirements determined following the sales strategy, programme schedule, social media schedule and shift roster
  • Support teams responsible for the social engagement strategy in live and non-live show
What You Bring
  • Excellent working knowledge of Social Media Platforms and TV Production
  • Knowledge of current and emerging social media applications including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Tik Tok
  • Advanced written and verbal English literacy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability at building relationships
  • A qualification in Media or Communications is preferable
  • Natural attitude to work and support others to achieve a common goal
  • An understanding of how commercial retailer function
  • Excellent computer literacy with Microsoft Office, Outlook, major Web Browsers and the ability to become familiar with any new information and social media systems the company introduces
