Job Description
CBS Sports is looking for an Associate Producer (AP) to work with the Ft Lauderdale control room/production team to produce podcasts for air on CBS Sports Network!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Act as Graphics/Font Coordinator on studio shows
- Research newsworthy events
- Collaborate on high-end graphic and visual ideas for talent and studio coverage
- Create graphics, storylines and breaking news elements
- Responsible for editing content on Adobe Premiere with strong knowledge of After Effects
- Knowledge of Inception and ability to create, format and produce segments from control rooms through a rundown
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-5 years work experience in broadcast/digital/podcast, producing segments
- Experience in control room
- Knowledge about social media and the competitive digital news environment
- Strong communication skills to work optimally with different departments
- Time management skills
- Basic video editing skills - Adobe Premiere
- Able to work flexible hours and on weekends
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- The ability to work in fast-paced environment, deal with intense deadline pressure and continually react to breaking news with smart programming and creative storytelling
- Strong understanding of Photoshop
- Familiarity with Inception/ENPS/iNews
- Experience with podcast production
- Hands on experience with a variety of sports productions (control room experience)
- Knowledge of the sports landscape and able to think creatively visually!
