Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is a short term position with an estimated duration of 9 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

CNBC is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Associate Social Media Producer to develop social & digital content that will engage and inform our audiences across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that responds in real time to the needs of the market and the primetime entertainment landscape. If you’re interested in social media marketing and have at least one year of social media or marketing experience, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:
  • Write and produce two newsletters per week
  • Create social & digital assets using Adobe Premiere and Canva
  • Research social & digital ideas for shows such as Shark Tank, Undercover Boss and American Greed
  • Produce videos for CNBC Prime across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
  • Assist in Equity and Opportunity marketing shoots
  • Write social copy for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong writing skills, with a proven track record of producing compelling and effective social & digital content
  • Experience with video production and graphic design
  • Strong ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for staying informed about industry trends and developments
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in social media, marketing, communications or related field preferred.
