Job Description

We are looking for Audio Producer to join our Production team. You will join a team that helps create content and perform production responsibilities for the Network and Affiliates.
                                                                             
What You'll Do:

• Employees will focus on the production and audio quality aspect of the content aired on the Network and Affiliate stations. This will include programming, digital content and some technical duties. 
• Ensure content is produced in a timely manner, oversees scheduling and content’s quality that is put on air.
• Communicate with the Production Director and Anchors on a daily basis.
• Screen audio files that are submitted. As well as reading along scripts to ensure proper pronunciation, and annunciation. 
• Maintain organization via digital file management, spreadsheet, and other tools given by the Production Director and/or V.P.
• Pursues information, overcomes obstacles with problem solving and pitches ideas to senior colleagues.
• Protects the iHeartMedia brand.
                                                                             
What You'll Need:
• Excellent IT skills, including data handling. Microsoft applications, Use of Microsoft TEAMs. 
• DAW software (ie: Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, etc) and audio plugins.
• Use of Broadcast consoles, recording consoles, rodecaster, voxpro, or similar.
• Audio recording and manipulation techniques.
• Confidence and tenacity when dealing with difficult decisions and/or issues.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, and to react quickly to changes.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills; ability to tailor and adapt content for different audiences and platforms.
• Excellent planning and organizing skills.
• Excellent communication skills, complemented by diplomacy, empathy and patience.
• Ability to generate original ideas, and to think creatively about how to communicate them to audiences; has comprehensive knowledge of subjects relevant to the network.
• Understanding of the radio market, different station/program styles, audience demographics
• Full knowledge of the F.C.C. rules and regulations.
• Understanding of the requirements of relevant health and safety legislation and procedures.

Work Experience

• 2+ years’ experience as: Radio Producer, Imaging Director, or Board Operator.
• 2+ years' experience as a Recording/Mix engineer at a professional Recording Studio.
• 2+ years' experience as a Dialogue Editor or similar at a professional Post Production Studio.
• Completed a Recording Arts Program with reel available to showcase, if considered.
 
Education
• 2 year college degree or equivalent experience .
• Post Production Certificate.
• Postgraduate studies in Radio Production a plus.

Compensation: $17.70 - $22.12
