Job Description
The position, reporting to the Sr.Manager Int’l Operations will supervise A/V Design Build projects enforcing global standardisation, UC/C escalation, Digital Signage maintenance, A/V Event Support, Stakeholder Engagement, End User training, Installations, A/V project management, research and evaluation of new products and technologies, and in-house customer support responsibilities. NBCUniversal are looking for an experienced hands-on individual who has managed high performing teams across multiple geographical locations delivering projects and operational excellence.
Qualifications
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Tandberg, Cisco TMS and VCS, SX series codecs and Telepresence, VOIP, SIP, H323, Creston, Polycom Endpoints (HDX/VVX/RMX), AMX and AV cloud collaboration solutions.
- Configure, support, troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with Audio Visual hardware and software.
- Ability to design audio and/or video installations from start to finish.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Networking.
- Ability to read and understand signal, and network diagram and CAD drawings.
- Audio Visual system design knowledge base.
- Audio Visual design build process experience.
- Software Development Lifecycle knowledge.

- Build, manage and lead a team of A/V Professionals and sub-contractors remote and local.
- Responsible for development of team members and performing performance reviews.
- Manage installations and support of the audio/video components of digital recording and presentation systems, and video conferencing.
- Provide technical support on A/V hardware, control systems, and signal issues.
- Research and evaluate new A/V products and technologies that benefit our business strategies.
- Provide signal and network traffic flow, control circuit, and AV system designs for site installations as required.
- Liaise with Business Units and other development engineers to understand requirements and upcoming business plan initiatives.
- Develop standard operating procedures and processes for A/V team.
- Maintain AV related statistics and ensure techs update and accurately report support issues.
- Manage all open A/V support issues
- Managing AV service providers
EXPERIENCE
- High attention to detail while balancing multiple issues.
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) Certification.
- ITIL Certification.
- Experienced in roles with A/V installations and management responsibilities.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in managing individuals and teams across multiple regions.
- Strong knowledge of A/V signal flow, wiring, soldering, and circuit board design.
- Proven attention to details and follow-up.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, documentation is a must.
- Ability to show good judgment.
- Knowledge of how to use electrical and electronic diagnostic tools.
- Computer Skills: MS Office, Outlook, Visio, etc.
- Expertise with Microsoft Teams, Polycom, Cisco, Tandberg, Crestron, AMX and other similar technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and Cloud Video Interop solutions.
- Experience with room/desk booking solutions (Condeco, iOffice, Outlook Room Finder).
- Experience with Digital Signage solutions (BrightSign, Exterity)
- Experience with DS players (Appspace, Scala)
- Experience with (MS Teams, Zoom, Amazon Chime, Bluejeans, Google Meets)
- Computer Skills: MS Office, Outlook, Visio, etc.
- Onsite or Internal Support experience.
- Vendor management (MSA, SOW, RFI, RFP)
