Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This position is under the supervision of Entertainment management and supports the day-to-day Entertainment operations.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Includes, but is not limited to the following)
  • Setting theatrical staging.
  • Placement of theatrical risers.
  • Setting temporary sound systems.
  • Hanging and focusing lights.
  • Hanging banners and signage.
  • Setting props and décor pieces.
  • Cleaning and organizing equipment.
  • Moving equipment and props to warehouse.
  • Climbing and cleaning Mining Rig.
  • Cleaning Dome Ring.
  • Regular and predictable attendance in accordance to the Silver Legacy’s policy.
  • Follow Silver Legacy’s Policies and the Entertainment’s Policies and Procedures.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) 
  • Basic knowledge of Theatrical techniques, carpentry, understanding of Rigging applications, Theatrical lighting, Audio applications. 
  • Must understand and comply with all company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Education: High school education or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum: 2 years (or equivalent) in Show/Concert set-up.
  • Certificate/License: None required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. Work is performed inside and outside in all weather conditions. Work is performed in areas that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, dimly lit or illuminated. Constant contact with staff and customers. Environment may be stressful.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position). Position requires Team Member to enter & exit from the Team Member entrance which entails 4 flights of stairs (40 steps). Requires constant walking. Requires frequent bending, reaching from floor to above head, stooping, pinching, pulling, grasping, fine motor skills, climbing, twisting, lifting, and carrying up to 35 lbs. Requires occasional lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs., transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering wheeled carts with static push/pull of 150 lbs. (with the assistance of another person) through crowded areas. Ability to work under conditions of height. Requires normal hearing and vision. Ability to take direction and multi task. Requires normal hearing and vision. Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
