Job Description

This is a fixed-term contract ending in March 2025. Please note this position requires you to be office-based 4 days a week at our EMEA HQ in Hammersmith, London.

An opportunity has become available to join the Disney team which leads the campaign strategy and implementation in the UK for some of the most iconic studio brands in the industry: Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios! Working in this team, you will have an opportunity to support the people developing and implementing the campaigns (including paid media) for both theatrical releases and Disney+.

The role and responsibilities
  • Support the Brand Team in developing and implementing dynamic, innovative and insight-driven marketing campaigns, in line with Studio strategy, across the Theatrical and Streaming businesses.
  • Coordinate with relevant members of the Studio team, cross-company and external agencies across all elements of the marketing mix.
  • Build & maintain relationships with key stakeholders ensuring alignment with The Walt Disney Company business needs. Take ownership of selected ‘synergy’ relationships (e.g. Shop Disney,  National Geographic) and internal communication plans for the respective titles.
  • Create UK campaign reports & presentations to feed into UK, EMEA and Global reviews.
  • Build good day-to-day working relationship with UK media agency and develop a good understanding of the briefing process, timeframe and strategy.
  • Maintain campaign budgets, seeking out cost efficiencies, monitoring actual expenditure versus plan and working with insights supports team to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Work with the team to undertake detailed post-campaign analysis.
  • Work with the team to ensure that campaign milestones are planned and communicated.
  • Support Trade Marketing lead and provide guidance to the intern to create standout presence with UK exhibitors (e.g trailer strategy, liaising with key contacts on trade media, supporting with promotional activity)
The experience we require from you
  • Experience working in film or entertainment industries
  • Theatrical experience and/or passion for film preferred.
  • Solid experience in creating presentations in Keynote, with competency across Microsoft Office and Google suite.
