Job Description
Uses the camera as instructed by the Director. They ensure the required action is correctly captured in the frame and must react instinctively as the proceedings take place. The camera operator also helps establish the theme and appearance of the show. Must have reliable transportation.
The Camera Operator must be experienced in camera operations in fast-paced, live conditions. Sports production knowledge is a plus.
Camera Operator responsibilities include:
- Strong camera operating skills with the ability to execute shots quickly
- Understands broadcasting methodology in establishing themes and appearances of shows
- Reliable transportation required
