Job Description
Responsibilities
- Working with agents, executives, and filmmakers from start of compulsion of a project
- Presenting ideas, and running presentational casting meetings
- Maintaining relationships and keeping open communication with VO Agents
- Manages the processes of casting all roles of a project (lead roles to day players )
- Isolate voices and edits audio/video clips for pitches using editing software
- Update and keep track of casting, various lists, and databases
- Coordinate with production and agents to schedule recording sessions
- Aides BA in gathering and compiling legal documents for hiring actors
Qualifications
- Experience communicating directly with agents, executives, and above-the-line staff
- Has in-depth knowledge of popular culture, television, and film
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Has a strong sense of taste and is able to voice subjective and objective opinions
- Proficient in Mac, basic editing software, and casting software/apps
- Self-motivated, confident, and has an excellent sense of humor
- Experience in managing the casting proses projects of multiple projects
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a casting department, 5 years in the industry
- Fan of animation is a MUST
The anticipated base salary for this position is $65,500 to $86,000.
