Audio Podcast Producer

Are you a creative audio enthusiast with a passion for storytelling and a knack for crafting compelling podcast content? We are on the lookout for a Podcast Producer to join our dynamic team and help shape the voice of our exciting podcast slate.

Responsibilities

● Be part of a creative production team of writers, show producers, and audio engineers in executing a production framework
● Assist production team in scheduling and planning interviews with guests and talent
● Upload Final audio to distribution platforms
● Review VO script and proofread script reads, assist with writing scripts as needed
● Helping locate voice talent, send director’s notes/manage correspondences
● Craft audio promos alongside full episodes, upload them to distribution platforms for use in marketing and social media
● Craft written promo assets such as overviews, pitch decks, one pagers
● Assist in crafting storyboards and podcast episode descriptions
● Assist in topic selection and guest research and development
● Assist in managing production timeline for the podcast slate
● Availability to attend creative team meetings, and directly collaborate with series producers and audio engineering team
● Assist in managing the production timelines for pre-launch, launch and post launch for original and  branded content
● Assist in executing company process and procedures for development and production of content to all departments
● Training and recruiting interns
● Participate in weekly development and production meetings and share feedback
● Shadow the COO for execution of operational procedures that pertain to podcast development

Qualifications

● Individual who is driven, diligent, and confident
● Ability to work remotely
● Be fluent in internal communication platforms, Slack and Basecamp
● Some experience producing narrative long and short -form audio stories with multiple characters/subjects
● Top-notch organizational skills, attention to detail, keen time-management and a healthy respect for deadlines
● Ability to multitask
● Excellent writing and reporting skills
● Preferred experience with booking, pre-interviewing, and talent management
● An independent work ethic combined with a love for and patience with the collaborative
● Familiarity with and curiosity about a range of social justice issues, and unresolved debates over how to build an equitable society
