We are looking for a part-time Board Operator to join the team!
Are you a studio pro? Do you know how to bring a live show together in real time? Do you have a vision for a creative audio experience and the technical chops to back it up? The ideal Board Operator acts like a conductor, moving sounds and audio elements in place to deliver compelling radio.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Are you a studio pro? Do you know how to bring a live show together in real time? Do you have a vision for a creative audio experience and the technical chops to back it up? The ideal Board Operator acts like a conductor, moving sounds and audio elements in place to deliver compelling radio.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Operating audio controls and digital computer cart system
- Screening phone calls
- Running live and recorded talk shows, sports programming and music operations for weekend and overnight shifts
- Responsible for maintaining transmitter status of multiple sites, coordination of newscasts, recording and playback of remote broadcasts and audio routing for remote broadcasts and network studio events.
- Running a radio control board, taking transmitter readings and other duties as assigned by supervisor
