Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic music lover to serve as a Live Event Team Ambassador for events and promotions.
This person will assist with the preparation and coordination of station events and live broadcasts. This could include event set-up and breakdown, packing promotional materials and event supplies, updating station social media accounts, taking photos, operating broadcasting equipment and other clerical tasks as needed. The right candidate must be outgoing in greeting the public, working with clients, and handling event required activities.
Requirements:
This person will assist with the preparation and coordination of station events and live broadcasts. This could include event set-up and breakdown, packing promotional materials and event supplies, updating station social media accounts, taking photos, operating broadcasting equipment and other clerical tasks as needed. The right candidate must be outgoing in greeting the public, working with clients, and handling event required activities.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and some holidays
- This is a part-time position, approximately 15-20 hours per week (more during large events)
- Experience in radio promotions and the broadcast industry is preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to work in areas and conditions that are often noisy, have many distractions, and in extreme weather (heat and cold) and landscape conditions.
- Must be able to lift, carry and move with up to 50lbs in many environments including outdoors and in extreme weather conditions.
