We are currently seeking a Coordinator, People & Culture to join our People & Culture team reporting to the VP, Talent Development & Management based in our New York, New York headquarters.
JOB SUMMARY
The People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administrative operations of all P&C functions (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, People Operations, Business Partnerships and Total Rewards). This role will report to the VP, Talent Development & Management. The ideal candidate will be task-minded, have a general knowledge of Human Resources, exhibit strong organizational and planning skills as well as keen attention to detail. He/She/They should be able to work autonomously and efficiently but also demonstrate good judgment in knowing when to seek guidance. This role is expected to follow our “4/1” hybrid working scheduling, meaning the employee will be in the office 4 days each week and remote 1 day each week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain employee records in Workday and provide support with onboarding and offboarding employees, including coordination with other departments (Finance, Global Technology and Operations, etc.)
- Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team, including calendar management
- Prepare monthly P&C team meeting agenda and presentation using PowerPoint/Canva and work with the department to prepare the agenda
- Process departmental expenses including invoices and corporate card
- Process unemployment claim submissions
- Support planning and execution of company-wide initiatives led by the P&C team
- Respond to internal and external related P&C inquires or requests, including monitoring the People & Culture inbox and coordinating with P&C functional teams as needed
- Administer milestone service awards for the employee service awards program in a timely manner
- Review and administer tuition reimbursement requests
- Review and respond to reasonable accommodation requests
- Provide scheduling support to the Talent Acquisition team for interviews with applicants
- Support rollout of performance management processes
- Support with contract management
- Work with Total Rewards team to support compensation and benefits initiatives
- Complete ad hoc requests and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 0 - 2 years’ prior experience working in a Human Resources function supporting employee processes and programs.
- Strong knowledge of Workday and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, OneNote).
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
The base compensation range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000 commensurate with experience.
