NBCUniversal has an opening for a Guest Experience Coordinator. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team that delivers a one-of-a-kind experience to guests at NBC’s home in 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The position reports to the Manager of Retail and The Shop at NBC studios and is required to work weekends and be on site full time at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Coordinator assists in the day to day operation and execution of The Tour at NBC Studios ensuring all guests coming to 30 Rock has a consistent and memorable experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- On site to field guest questions, oversee Pages, walk through the spaces and ensure tech elements are running properly for all general public tours
- Point of contact for any questions pertaining to the studio tour, bookings, refunds, timing, etc.
- Responsible for ensuring the Tour open and close procedures are properly executed at the start and end of the day
- Report out any tech or A/V issues to management. Escalate accordingly to key partners
- Point of contact for all Tour Pages for any questions that arise and/or route changes
- Responsible for ensuring client satisfaction with tours and overall experience
- Monitor Page attendance and update daily report
- Provide daily recap to department leaders outlining issues, call outs and feedback
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in working a guest service role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deliver a high level of guest service in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate computer savvy and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision and direction.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be available for all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be willing to work additional hours past scheduled shifts
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older
- This position is required on-site
DESIRED:
- Previous attraction, museum, or cultural institution experience
- Previous ticketing and sales experience
- Ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people and teams.
Salary Range: $52,000 -$66,500
