As a part of the Paramount+ Global Content Curation department, the editorial team writes and edits user-facing marketing, product, and legal copy for Paramount+ global sites and apps. The copywriter creates clear and error-free text for various marketing initiatives and product needs and ensures copy is approved by internal teams prior to launch.
Additional tasks include writing copy for Paramount+ marquees in all live markets. The copywriter must adhere to the in-house style guide, ensure copy is optimized for SEO, and communicate effectively with partners to meet strict deadlines.
This role requires excellent writing, time management and communication skills, as the copywriter manages multiple projects simultaneously while working collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment. While this is generally a daytime job, we occasionally need coverage for evenings, weekends and holidays.
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of experience
- Strong creative writing, editorial and proofreading skills
- Ability to flex writing skills to fit a range of properties and audiences
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to integrate creative direction and feedback
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
