Job Description
Amazon Kids is looking for a Creative Executive to contribute to the growth of our original programming for audiences aged 3-12, across scripted, unscripted, live-action and animation. This person will have creative as well as strategic responsibilities - overseeing the development of series from pitch through post, and working hand in hand with cross-functional teams to shape our slate of integrated multi-media original properties.
The ideal candidate is a strong creative with excellent storytelling instincts. They are an invested leader with the proven ability to work collaboratively, solving day to day creative problems as well as supporting bigger strategic and production conversations. They will have an entrepreneurial spirit, with experience contributing to a fast-paced content team across development and production, creating a culture of innovation and thinking big.

Key job responsibilities
- Identifying and evaluating original content opportunities.
- Overseeing the development and production of original series from pitch through post.
- Slate planning age groups and content types (scripted, unscripted, live action, animation).
- Liaising with internal teams (Business Development, Marketing, PR, Strategy, etc.) to operate and enable the reliable and timely delivery of original content global releases.
- Monitor kids content trends and generate bar-raising content initiatives.
- Evaluating content creation pipeline.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years experience as a creative executive/producer/production manager/line producer on animated and/or live-action series.
- 4+ years experience with budgeting, scheduling and cost reports.
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
- Persuasive, clear and professional verbal and written communication style.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with preschool and bridge-aged content.
- Understanding of S&P guidelines and age-appropriate storytelling in children’s content.
- Knowledge of digital media creators and trends.
- Passion for kids media.
The base pay for this position ranges from $113,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market.
