Job Description

Under the guidance of the Manager Culinary Style and Studio Kitchen Leads, A Culinary Stylist is responsible for the preparations, execution, and support of the live show, photo shoots, video shoots, and social media styling support that feature QVC Culinary products.

Your Impact
  • The Culinary Stylist ensures they are preparing and executing to the highest standards of QVC.
  • Must have the skills to experiment with new recipes in achieving the best results.
  • You will participate in recipe testing and development for on-air presentation, photo shoots, video shoots, and social media styling.
  • This role requires the Culinary Stylist to work with in a team. The candidate will interact with Broadcast Production staff and on-air talent. Must be willing to be crossed trained in all aspects of multi-channel support.
  • Support for celebrity product lines and celebrity cookbooks.
  • The candidate is required to drive progress through creativity, style, and artistry.
  • Collaborate and partner with other cross-teams to implement best practices for product displays and product demos to present in the best possible manner for the brand and customer
  • Work closely with the Studio Kitchen Leads on products (food, gadgets, small electric appliances, etc.), cookbooks, and recipes.
  • Meet with host to preview the presentation and provide any last-minute needs, prepare all demos, reveals, and mise en place according to product scope. Set presentation up in advance and get sell table ready for host preview.
  • Consult with the Production Team on sell location and presentation tables.
  • Accountable to ensure that all culinary products going on-air are fully prepared and well supported to meet the highest quality standards of our brands.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to last minute changes.
  • During presentation remain accessible and attentive to talent to support unplanned requirements/needs which may also include maintenance of product demos and/or refresh updates to the beauty plates
  • Partners with studio staff to move sell table out of studio.
  • Responsible for breakdown of presentation tables. Clean countertops, and shelves of your presentation position. Removes all product, pots, pan, etc. back into the kitchen. Return all provisions to its proper place.
  • Communicate with Studio Kitchen Lead regarding any product sample returns
What You Bring
Education
  • High school diploma or general education (GED)
  • A degree in Culinary Studies is preferred or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years in a culinary environment or other styling fields preferred
Shifts may fall on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Availability on Wednesday and Weekends needed

Must be located within approximately 35-40 miles of QVC's headquarters in West Chester, PA as this role is NOT eligible for relocation assistance
