Summary
BET is looking for a dynamic, driven and savvy Designer/Animator with a knowledge, passion, curiosity and love of black culture to support what’s hot, what’s next and what matters at BET Networks. The Broadcast Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and animating motion design elements for brand, promo and 360 marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Design Director, he/she will create motion design and animation for on-air promos, network branding projects, marketing initiatives, secondary events, show packages and more.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Produce an array of design content for BET's in-house Brand Creative department
Contribute to all stages of creative development, from research and storyboarding to animation/production and final delivery
Operate as a member of the Design team to complete projects on time and on budget and to the highest quality
Collaborate with Art Directors, Design Project Manager, and Design Director to meet creative and production goals
Participate in creative pitches to internal teams as well as outside clients
Work with Writer / Producers, Editors and the Production team to develop on-brand strategic solutions
Maintain the highest creative, conceptual and production standards, while constantly ensuring brand integrity and consistency
Understand the BET brand and appropriately represent it on all projects
Stay current and up-to-date with current design trends, techniques and processes
Work towards to the ongoing growth and evolution of the Design team and the development of the BET brand
Basic Qualifications
4 years of industry experience
Additional Qualifications
Advanced skills in broadcast design and animation
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, InDesign)
C4D skills a plus
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously, under tight deadlines
Ability to work supervised as well as independently
