Job Description

FOX Entertainment Global is seeking a Director of Strategy. This role will report to the Vice President, Strategy & Operations. In this position you will drive strategic initiatives, content release strategy and windowing, and internal implementation of new projects. In addition, the position is a key team member in aggregating and converting data into impactful recommendations and co-creating solutions cross-functionally.
 
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead dynamic sales and windowing strategies of content portfolio throughout the content lifecycle
  • Develop proposals for new monetization strategies across various content verticals and windows
  • Analyze and interpret content performance and trends to identify new opportunities to strengthen FOX Entertainment Global’s growth
  • Create business cases, special projects, and ensure business functions are in line with broader company strategic goals 
  • Partner with Vice President, Strategy & Operations to structure and execute strategic opportunities that support and accelerate company goals and vision
  • Drive internal implementation of new initiatives, working cross-functionally with key stakeholders across FOX Entertainment Global and FOX to ensure that projects are successful, on time, and within budget
  • Work in partnership with operations and finance to generate new methods of data-driven insights and reporting frameworks within new systems
  • Build presentations for internal and external meetings
  • Perform other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by leadership 
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to business, finance, media, etc.
  • Self-starter with the ability to effectively navigate and partner with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Deep understanding of the streaming landscape and shifting dynamic of entertainment consumption and its impact on the content distribution business
  • Thorough knowledge of distribution, rights, and windowing within film & TV industry 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding the big picture and business as a whole
  • Aptitude to work well on more than one project at a time in a dynamic environment
  • Proactive, positive attitude, team player
  • Passion for media and entertainment
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel & PowerPoint

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $106,000.00-130,000.00 annually for California.
