Job Description
A Day in the Life…
- Providing administrative support for the Domestic Talent Casting team in marketing, planning, and executing auditions for shows and events
- Leveraging innovative ideas and approaches to the Disney Auditions social media presence to promote audition opportunities
- Assist Casting Marketing in developing effective strategies to target certain populations
- Applying a creative approach to sourcing candidates using a variety of methods to build talent pipelines
- Providing administrative support throughout the production life cycle of assigned casting projects
- Researching new potential markets for ‘hard to fill’ roles (Face Characters, Tumblers/Gymnasts) to increase visibility to high quality candidates
- Evaluating online submissions and making recommendations to Casting Directors regarding whom to call back
- Participating in various auditions (Character performer, Dancer, Singer, Actor) as assigned and recommending adjustments to the audition process and the candidate experience

- Experience in Entertainment (Vocal/Dance/Musical Theater), Communications or Marketing industries
- Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn new software applications
- Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills
Preferred Education: Junior, senior, recent graduate or graduate student earning a degree in Musical Theater/Arts/Entertainment, Communications or Marketing field
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of working in a unionized environment (Actors’ Equity Association, American Federation of Musicians)
Internship Eligibility:
- At the time of application, must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from college within the past six months OR be currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Candidates must be fully available to work full time any time including days, nights, weekends, and holidays for the duration of the internship
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work
- Must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2023 through January 2024
