In this role, you will work with large and small commercial productions, internally produced film and photography projects, and student film projects.

Manage the scheduling, planning, and execution of internal and external film projects on campus, including motion picture filming, videography, and still photography.
Job Summary
Manage the scheduling, planning, and execution of internal and external film projects on campus, including motion picture filming, videography, and still photography. Support collaboration with campus departments and external partners to plan and execute events and development opportunities that will increase community and engagement across campus.
This position will interact on a regular basis with: faculty, staff, students, vendors, and guests
This position typically will advise and counsel: staff, students, and vendors
This position may supervise students
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Serve as a member of the Film Logistics Committee and assist with review of projects, reserve requested spaces on campus, execute event logistics, and schedule and conduct pre-production meetings with production companies. Create and execute strategic logistics and communication plans for all film projects. Identify opportunities to grow film location revenue for Institute (attend industry events, join industry groups, etc.). Maintain film location website and documentation
Job Duty 2 -
Coordinate with location scouts and schedule and conduct scout campus visits
Job Duty 3 -
Identify all punch work required post-project, collect funds for work, and ensure all work is completed
Job Duty 4 -
Collaborate with campus departments and external partners to develop and implement initiatives to engage the campus area community
Job Duty 5 -
Manage special projects and events as assigned
Job Duty 6 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Three to four years of job-related experience - with at least two years of film production, film set, or other entertainment related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
The position involves occasional travel up to 10% of the time and requires lifting, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 30 pounds or more. There will be occasional outside work (in various weather conditions throughout the year)
SKILLS
- Working knowledge of office related computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent oral and written communication, ability to work under pressure, and exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, respond quickly, great attention to detail, ability to think critically, and provide creative solutions.
- Flexibility in working hours.

Salary:$60,000.00+ commensurate with experience
