Job Description

Spring just got stronger, and we are looking for creative and social media-minded Freelance Videographers and Photographers who love spring football as much as we do to join our team in Arlington, Texas.

This position will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality videos and images at UFL games, practices, and select events. This is an opportunity to be behind the lens for the very first UFL season and showcase unprecedented access to players, coaches, fans, and the game of football. 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Capture and edit high-quality video and photo content from UFL games, practices, and events
  • Meet deadlines and share content with the digital team in a quick and efficient manner
  • Support and work alongside the digital content team to make sure all video and photo priorities during practices, games, and events are met
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with the players, coaches, and league staff on and off the field
  • Join planning meetings and pitch original ideas and edits that can be optimized for digital platforms
  • Communicate with the UFL digital content team leads in a timely fashion to receive instructions, priorities, and edits/notes
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Experience capturing sports video and photo content (preferably football) for a college or professional sports team or league
  • Knowledge of what works on digital and experience editing video for social media platforms
  • A portfolio of prior sports video/photography content
  • A passionate football fan who is knowledgeable about the game of football
  • Proficiency in editing in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
  • High level of professionalism on and off the field
  • Ability to create and edit as well as produce high-quality and accurate work within deadlines
  • Ability to be outdoors, stand for long periods and carry equipment up to 25 lbs. 
  • Ability to work late nights, weekends, and whenever UFL events are occurring
  • Ability to travel on weekends to assigned game locations
  • Full availability from February 23rd through the end of the UFL season
