Role & Responsibilities
- Render shots as required, in a timely and efficient manner
- Work closely with Finishing Team and UE4 Generalists to address fixes and notes to shots
- Work effectively to meet Production deadlines
- Communicate effectively with other departments to flag or investigate any technical or artistic issues that might arise
- Debug and optimize lighting scenarios as required
- Ensure renders are uploaded to ShotGrid/delivered to Editorial in the correct file format
- Light to create mood and atmosphere based on artistic direction and story-telling requirements
Qualifications
At least one of the following:
- Experience in Film/TV Animation or VFX industries
- Industry experience on a AAA or independent video game
- Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts, Film, or Animation or other relevant discipline
- Excellent understanding of color, materials, mood, space and the properties of light
- Experience with Maya or Blender or equivalent DCC is a plus
- Knowledge of Virtual Production concepts and techniques is a plus
- The ability to learn and adapt quickly
- An open and proactive communication style
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work on own initiative
