The ideal person should have a proven track record of social media marketing, a good blend of strategic thinking and creative story-telling, and mentorship.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Make D+ H the most loved entertainment brand in the country!
  • Own the development & implementation of a strategic social media marketing plan that aligns with, and drives, business goals
  • Lead a team of energetic and passionate social media managers, and manage agency relationships
  • Build and grow a community of deeply engaged fans of the brand by leveraging our iconic IPs, extensive content library and compelling new content we release week on week
  • Grow followership and engagement across YT, IG and FB by 50% y-o-y
  • Leverage deep understanding of digital audiences and pop-culture to Craft and Execute outstanding Social Media campaigns to support key Title launches across Hindi Originals, Shows, Disney+ and Marvel content and Live Sports, making each of these Titles/Events highly conversational and buzz-worthy
  • Collaborate closely and effectively with team members across Content, Marketing, Internal Creative comms etc, elevating the work of cross functional teams
  • Own the end to end measurement agenda on social and craft data-led future strategies for the brand
WHAT TO BRING
  • Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration
  • 10-15 years of experience in Digital Marketing/Social Marketing/Digital Agency/Media Company working with large brands
  • Minimum 6-8 yrs. experience in Ownership of Social presence and Community management for brands with sizeable digital audiences
  • Highly collaborative, with a strong bias for action and team mindset
  • Hands-on experience developing insights from social listening. Detailed understanding of social analytics across channels. Ability to synthesize data from many sources into actionable insights
  • Highly informed and thoughtful perspectives on social platforms. Ability to adapt brand expression and campaign strategy to relevant social channel experiences and strategy
  • Strong knowledge of digital media, current local trends in media consumption and marketing opportunities
