Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Music & Entertainment Business faculty position in the Michael A. Leven School of Management, Entrepreneurship and Hospitality that begins January 2024.
Responsibilities
Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses on audio production, video production, and general management. Some service to the department, college, and university is expected, which include the following service activities:
· Program development and promotion
· Student Recruitment
· Student teaching/clinical supervision
· Student advising
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
· A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a discipline related to business administration, arts, media, media studies, music, communication, marketing, technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
OR
· A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required.
Preferred Qualifications
· 5-10 years of experience in film & television AND audio production.
· 5-10 years of experience in Adobe Premiere OR Logic Pro X.
· Experience in teaching undergraduate college courses.
· Advanced skills in camera and video operations.
