Job Description

As a Manager, Paid Search, you will help build a marvelous search engine marketing (SEM) team and complete growth and acquisition search campaigns that focus on acquisition metrics such as conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA) and return on ad spend (ROAS) using. The ideal candidate has experience running paid advertising campaigns with search marketing, display or video and is an experienced in leading and owning strategy and execution of campaigns. 
 
In this role, you will interact closely with the Marketing team to implement SEM acquisition marketing campaigns, with specific expertise on paid search channels (Google AdWords, Microsoft Search Ads (Bing), Apple Search and Yahoo Gemini. This person would also lead performance-max (PMAX) and universal-app-campaigns (UAC ). Responsibilities: 
  • Be the team guide on all things search and work with the team to meet growth goals 
  • Comfortable communicating across teams and levels
  • Able to come up with creative approaches to meet business needs, assessing opportunities for testing to find incremental audience growth
  • Handle and optimize large-scale paid search (PPC) campaigns in Google AdWords, Bing, Apple, and Gemini so that they meet the target KPIs across a diverse range of initiatives (e.g.: revenue generation, new subscribers, new product awareness)
  • Generate keyword lists, ad copy, and any other campaign assets
  • Research keywords for inclusion and exclusion
  • Adjust and update ad assets, including text ads, video ads, graphical display ads or banner ads
  • Monitor keyword position
  • Adjust and optimize marketing campaigns/keywords and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions to hit ROAS targets as directed using feedback & input from Senior leadership
  • Pull platform reporting to help keep campaign reports up to date
  • Demonstrate curiosity about developing stronger analytical skills to measure and report on marketing programs and KPIs
  • Provide ideas and solutions to meet business objectives
  • Attend team meetings and department calls
  • Monitor activities of competitors and provide industry trends and findings
Basic Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of paid digital advertising and marketing experience, preferably with experience in running paid acquisition campaigns across Google Search Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), Apple, or Yahoo! Gemini
  • Experience running UAC and/or Apple Search ads to drive app install metrics such as Cost-per-Install (CPI)
  • Experience using any of the following advertising management tools such as: Google AdWords Editor, Bing Ads Editor, Acquisio, Kenshoo, Marin Software, Quantic Minds, SA360 (DoubleClick Search), Wordstream, MOJO SEM (by Mediaplex), Webtrends, Doubleclick Campaign Manager (DCM or CM)
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Google drive, Google documents
Additional Qualifications:
  • Agency account or client experience a plus, especially within entertainment/growth marketing
  • Organized and proficient using team collaborative software like Basecamp or Asana
  • Understanding of common marketing key performance indicator metrics (KPIs), their calculation and how the metrics pertain to the success of marketing activities
  • Adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work with regular check-ins and supervision from department leaders or teammates to communicate back progress and updates
  • Insatiable curiosity, resourcefulness, strong work ethic, and a creative mind
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 - 107,000.00.
