Job Description

What you get to do: 
  • Plan, coordinate and implement Sesame Place Birthday Parties 
  • Maintain customer database and event calendar 
  • Provide exemplary service to guests 
  • Work with and oversee all children celebrating birthday parties, ages 1-12 years old 
  • Support the set-up for all facilitated activities and accomplish clean-up tasks upon completion of party needs; monitor audio and lighting needs 
  • Help with the cleaning and sanitizing of spaces and objects, before, during, and after the facilities open; keep all spaces tidy during operating hours 
  • Escort costume characters during walk 
  • Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations 
  • Work with cast/crew and management to maintain the integrity of the show 
  • Assist with other areas of marketing and complete tasks as assigned

  • Strong attention to detail and have a creative spirit 
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service; be watchful and maintain a high level of concentration and focus throughout the event 
  • Have excellent customer service and strong communication skills 
  • Must be a good team player; prior experience in hosting events a plus  
What else is important: 
  • Must be at least 18 or older
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs  
  • Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards  
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat   
  • Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement.  
  • Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations
