Job Description

KENS 5, the CBS affiliate in San Antonio, Texas, is in search of a bold, creative, curious person to join the station's award-winning marketing team. This Marketing Producer will write, shoot, edit and produce amazing content for the station and its digital properties.

You’ll work closely with news to promote news stories and brand opportunities. This is a fast paced environment where accuracy and creativity work hand in hand. Experience in a local newsroom or local news marketing team is a major plus.

In addition to the professional skills referenced above, our ideal candidate will be highly-motivated, team oriented and have a positive attitude that is always willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities
  • We are looking for someone who can write, shoot, design, edit and execute on multiple platforms.
  • Think strategically and creatively while still meeting objectives/deadlines.
  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in videography, photography, motion graphic design, and editing.
  • Marketing and/or branding experience is a plus.
Job Requirements:
  • Be comfortable working with the content team, station talent and creative marketing team.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Adobe products, specifically After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop
  • A sample (reel or website) of your work must be submitted to be considered.
  • Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
  • Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment.
  • Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
