Job Description
FOX10, Arizona’s preeminent source for news, is seeking a talented, passionate, creative, and collaborative Photographer to join our dynamic team! - Job duties include covering general news assignments in a fast-paced environment using electronic VIDEO camera & editing equipment, applying techniques appropriate to each story.
- Understanding of different camera/media formats required.
- Recent on-the-street TV news photography experience required.
- Must have live ENG remote experience, including streaming platforms and microwave truck operation.
- Excellent storytelling techniques including composition, use of audio, lighting and effective editing required.
- Along with photography, editing is a major component of this position, whether in the field or at the station.
- Applicant must be able to edit ENG material both remotely and in-house for various newscasts under specific time constraints using non-linear editing equipment.
- Must have a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere or comparable editing platforms.
- Familiarity with Bitcentral newsroom systems and iNews a plus.
- Candidate is expected to be willing to cross-train into other areas of the news operation if needed.
- Weekends, holidays, travel & varied hours required.
- HS diploma required, college degree pref.
- Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. equipment.
- Must be able to drive, have proof of insurance, obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license and maintain a clean MVR.

- This position is NOT a still photographer position.

- Examples of work must include videography and editing in a news setting.
