JOB DESCRIPTION

WFLD is seeking a staff producer to contribute to one of Fox 32’s newscasts. This role requires a producer to gather facts, find video and oversee editing of stories. The candidate must have strong writing skills and be self-sufficient for the newscast. Responsible for story content and accuracy. Must perform all other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate

REQUIREMENTS: 
Candidate must have 2-3 years producing experience, experience as a line producer and computer knowledge preferred. Must be creative, concise, detail oriented, able to handle deadline pressure and take direction from managers. Reliability, good news judgment, and factual accuracy are crucial. Heaving sitting at workstation, light standing, bending, walking and stair climbing are also required. Candidate must be able to work flexible hours; early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays may be required
