Job Description
FOX31/Channel 2 is looking for a part-time Production Technician to join our evening production crew! The ideal candidate will work well under pressure and stay cool when challenges arise. A positive, can-do attitude is a must, and we are willing to train the right person. A willingness to work weekends, nights and holidays is a must since we are a 24/7 operation.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Teleprompt the 4/5/7/9/10PM newscasts and Colorado Sports Night.
- Operate robotic cameras for the 4/5/7/9/10PM newscasts and Colorado Sports Night.
- Prep batteries for mics and IFBs, assign mics and IFBs to in-studio talent, check mic quality for remote reporters. Operate audio board during the 4/5/7/9/10PM newscasts and Colorado Sports Night.
- Complete any other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Directors on-duty.
- Must be able to work effectively with others in a team environment, managing multiple tasks on strict deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Must be a team player
- A willingness to learn
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Experience working in television preferred but not required
- Detail oriented
- Flexible and reliable
- A sense of urgency
- Valid driver’s license is required
Compensation – $18.29/hour
